I love Lum and Ataru, more than any other anime couple ever, even kagome and inuyasha, but they're a close second

Lum and Ataru's relationship is deeply centred on denial and jealousy. Healthy eh? lol....

i tried to make something 'cel-like' i have terrible line-art computer type skills, so i used a function in photoshop to smooth it for me, partially because i drew the lines too thick, and partly cos they're always bumpy. it did look better, but it still looks thick. i dunno.

this picture is mainly for the situation, Ataru likes to make out he's in hell, but he knows, just like everyone tells him all along, there's no greater place to be than next to Lum

i love the way he suddenly becomes rightous and pure when Lum tries to appeal to his base instincts. the very instincts he acts on every time he sees any other girl... Ahhhh Ataru

This is a very good drawing. What sort of medium is this picture made in?

One thing I have never understood about the anime is at first Ataru wanted Lum but later he always avoids her. Why?
