another Tama X Haru pic... sorry!

i'm a little obsessed with Tamaki... ^^


i'm as scared of lightning as Haruhi, so i thought i'd draw this. Tamaki is always up for playing hero, and i'm guessing Haruhi is just scared, and any port in a storm

i do really hope there is a paring between the two of them. i'm not usually one for 'guessing' at pairings, i think Ouran is the only manga/anime i've ever encountered where it really isn't obvious at all if the heroine will ever end up with anyone. She doesn't feel she needs anything, so i think the whole manga will revolve around her realising it's ok to want things, and it's ok to need people.
it just who will she end up needing? atm there seems to only be two real contenters, and neither are really 'contenders' in the sense she's really picked them out... they just seem to like her more than the others...

Tamaki is all smiling faces and out to please you, especially if you're female. he seems to want everyone to be happy. He's vain and self-absorbed, and always looking for things to entertain him and amuse him. Seemingly he had a tough childhood, he looked after an ailing mother and hardly ever left her side. He got shipped off to Japan to his father, and his family there wont accept him as they disliked his mother intently. his grandmother especially is very viscious. Tamaki either hardly notices, which is pretty unlikely, or he does his best to keep face. His need to please probably stems from wanting to be accepted. He plays games now, because with the host club, he feels he found a family where he feels accepted, and he never got to play as a kid. Trouble is, is Haruhi truly, as the nasty girl who bullied her said, 'just something new' to Tamaki, or is she more than that? Haruhi does a good job of shrugging off Tamaki's endless advances, and any good progress he makes is usually undone by his own, or the twins, end.

i dunno about Hikaru, i think his need for Haruhi is just as important as Tamaki's. He needs her to stop him forever being stuck in a world of him and his brother, and to realise there are people out there who care for him, and who need him.
i know less abut him though, so it's harder for me to summerise anything to do with him, othe than he seems interested in her, and he scored a few points with her, only to dump her outside in a storm when he threw a jealous hissy fit at her for having a childhood friend. Tamaki made him go back for her, and he learnt from it.

who knows where Hatori Bisco is going with it... lots of people think it will be Tamaki, as it is 'obvious' but it's only pulled that way through the anime, and i don't think it's quite so obvious in the manga. She may choose to make me very sad yet... who knows.
